Buyers of supplier data
Who buys automotive engineering data, in their own words
Two published listings name the kind of records an automotive supplier keeps. Around them are marketplaces and programmes that license company data of any sort.
Two listings that fit a supplier
Mercor's hardware listing puts automotive suppliers first and gives a range of $45,000 to $1,350,000 a company. Its manufacturing listing, for plants and shops with production and maintenance records the company owns, gives $100,000 to $1,500,000, and both rule out data restricted by customer contracts or owned by customers.

Where a supplier can list data
Datarade and Opendatabay list a seller's data products for buyers to find; Opendatabay's catalogue already carries a first-person video set filmed on automotive and electronics assembly lines. Defined.ai runs partnership programmes for businesses that own or process data.

Licensors of company records
Troveo and Nyne license a company's records to AI labs on agreed terms; Nyne says payment follows once a dataset is delivered and accepted, and Troveo that its partners share in each new sale rather than being paid once.
